Prayers On A Wire Etsy Team TREASURY CHALLENGES!

Christ Healing St. Peregrine of Cancer
There are 3 specific treasuries that I really want to do. So to entice you all to make an item for these treasuries, I am giving a $10 Amazon gift certificate to the winner of each or a $20 donation in your name to the charity of your choice. The winner will be chosen by committee - any member who has an item in their store based on any or all of the three treasury themes on the appropriate date following the lisitng rules can be a winner. Even if you're not chosen for the treasury, you still can win, as long as you have an appropriate item listed in your store.. Multiple items each get a number. Notice the dates are now Oct. 1, Oct. 15 and Nov. 1. All entries will need to be submitted/listed by 10 p.m. please. I need to have at least 12 items to choose a winner for each challenge please. So PLEASE consider making something(s).
St. Agatha, Patron Saint of Breast Cancer

I think you know by now that I prefer to include religious items in my treasuries, so please keep that in mind. Of course, to be entered into the drawing, you do not have to be chosen for the treasury. You just need to list an appropriate item and follow the rules. Basically – 1) include the treasury title at the beginning of the title of your item and 2) include our team tag name, prayersonawireteam, as a tag. Each challenge will have one more requirement specific to that treasury.

Do not be pornographic or sacrilegious in the choice of your item. Please consider that we are the Prayers on a Wire Team.

1. Ovarian and Uterine Cancer Awareness - the ribbon colors are teal and peach, respectively. Please have your entry include one or both of these colors. Other than being at least partially teal and or peach, the only other requirements are in the title and tags (see above). The date for this treasury will be October 1. So please have your items listed by then.

For example, St Peregrine is the patron saint of all cancers. Our Lady of Perpetual Help is often associated with St. Peregrine and cancer. Are there others? Anything teal will be entered into the drawing as long as the other requirements are followed. You do not have to be chosen for the treasury to be entered into the drawing.

Please have the title of your entry start with Ovarian/Uterine Cancer Awareness and don't forget to include prayersonawireteam (one word, no spaces) as a tag.

2. Breast Cancer Awareness – the ribbon color is pink. The date for this treasury is October 15.

Just a couple of examples: The patrons saints for breast cancer are St. Peregrine (all cancers), St. Aldegundis (breast cancer), and St. Agatha of Sicily (breast cancer). Our Lady of Perpetual Help is often associated with cancer. Are there others? Anything pink will be entered into the drawing as long as the other 2 requirements are followed. You do not have to be chosen for the treasury to be entered into the drawing.

3. Day of the Dead - please research what this holy day is about and what makes this Christian celebration so unique and list a new or vintage item that represents this celebration.

For examples, see the previous my previous treasuries and other’s treasuries on the Day of the Dead. Go to wikipedia and learn more about it. Talk to Hispanic friends. Anything you can do to learn about it and make your item represent this holy celebration.

This treasury will be done on Nov. 1 (the Day of the Dead also known as All Saint’s Day), so please make sure your item is listed on that date (before is good too, but if it sells, don’t delete it and send me the URL of the sold item, please) and let me know so that I can add it to my favorites as well as give you a number for the prize entry.

Please have the title of your listing start with Day of the Dead and don't forget to include prayersonawireteam (one word, no spaces) as a tag and Day of the Dead.

Please have fun with this one, but please remember that, according to the Catholic church, Mary was assumed into heaven as a whole person and any depictions of her as a skeleton would be considered irreverent to the Church and to many people. Please do not depict her, or any saint, as a skeleton for this contest. This is a personal request by me. Please.

Any questions, please post them on this discussion board. If the questions are personal, please email me at stairwayheaven11@gmail.com. Thank you.
